Configuration

The Configuration menu contains these menu items:

Create>

 Local Client...

 Configures a client system using the configuration information stored in the DCE CDS namespace. This option does not require cell_admin privileges.

 Administrators must first store configuration information in the namespace with the Remote Client>Create… option on the Administration menu.

 Full Client…

 Configures your system as a full DCE client. This option requires cell_admin privileges.

 Server...

 Configures your system as a DCE server.

Modify…

Changes the configuration of your system.

Unconfigure…

Stops all active DCE services and deletes all temporary and permanent local databases associated with the DCE services on your system, including the DCE system configuration files. All references to the client are also removed from the CDS namespace and the Security registry.
